A Japanese media report says the government is preparing to end its support to the NATO mission in Afghanistan.
The Nikkei newspaper report today (Saturday) says Tokyo will inform the United States and Britain next week that it will withdraw its naval fuel tankers November first. That is the date the Japanese law authorizing the mission will expire.
