인권단체들은 스리랑카 보안군이 타밀 호랑이 반군과의 싸움의 일환으로 납치와 초사법적인 살인 등 여러가지 인권침해를 저지르고 있다고 지적했습니다.

The International Committee of the Red Cross says at least 34 people have been abducted in Sri Lanka in the past three weeks.
The humanitarian organization said today (Monday) it received reports of the abductions from family members of the missing people.
Rights groups accuse Sri Lanka's government of involvement in the disappearances of hundreds of people in the past year.
The rights groups say Sri Lankan security forces carry out kidnappings, extra-judicial killings and other abuses as part of the military's fight against Tamil rebels. Sri Lanka's government denies the charges.
The U.N. Human Rights Council will discuss Colombo's rights record at a meeting in Geneva next week.
