영국은 다이애나 전 왕세자비의 사망 10주년을 맞아 31일 추모 행사를 가졌습니다.
다이애나 전 왕세자비의 아들 윌리암과 해리 왕자는 이 날 버컹엄 궁 건너편 가즈 채플에서 영국 왕실이 연 추도식에서 어머니의 사망을 추도했습니다. 추도식에는 엘리자베스 여왕과 다이애나 왕세자 비의 전 남편 찰스 왕세자 등 5백여 명의 추도객들이 참석했습니다.
고든 브라운 총리와 다이애나 왕비를 국민의 왕세자비라고 칭했었던 토니 블레어 전 총리 등도 참석했습니다. 다이애나 전 왕세자비의 장례식 때 추도곡을 불렀던 가수 엘튼 존도 참석했습니다.
인근 공원에는 많은 군중이 모여 다이애나 왕세자비가 살았던 켄싱턴 궁 문에 조화와 다이애나 왕세자비의 초상화, 추모시 등을 매달았습니다.

Britain is mourning the late Princess Diana today (Friday) on the 10th anniversary of her death in a car crash in Paris.
Diana's sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, organized a solemn tribute with a royal memorial service in central London. William commemorated his mother with a Bible reading, while Harry delivered personal reminiscences about her.
Queen Elizabeth, Diana's ex-husband, Prince Charles, and about 500 other invited guests attended the service at the historic Guards Chapel, near Buckingham Palace.
Britain's senior (Anglican) clergyman, Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams, delivered a prayer offering thanks for the princess's "willingness to reach out to the excluded and forgotten."
Other guests included Prime Minister Gordon Brown and his predecessor, Tony Blair.
Crowds gathered in a nearby park and tied bouquets, portraits and poems to the gates of her former home, Kensington Palace.
