뉴욕에서도 뉴욕 증권거래소 건물 밖에 모여 반전시위를 벌이던 시민 40여 명이 경찰에 구속됐습니다.

U.S. anti-war activists have staged protests across the country to mark the four-year anniversary of the start of the Iraq war.
At a so-called "die-in" in San Francisco (California), protesters were lying on the sidewalk with fake blood, pretending to be dead. The demonstrations were used to symbolize the more than 32-hundred U.S. troops killed in the Iraq war.
At least 57 people were arrested in connection with the demonstrations in San Francisco.
In New York City, police arrested more than 40 war protesters outside the New York Stock Exchange in the city's financial district.
On Monday, President Bush said the fight in Iraq is difficult, but it can be won. He also appealed to Congress to move quickly on an emergency war spending bill for operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
