이란 텔레비전 방송은 이란 우주연구소의 모셴 바흐라미 소장이 25일, 우주 로켓 발사가 성공적으로 실시됐으며 이 로켓은 이란 과학자들이 개발한 것이라고 밝혔다고 보도했습니다.

이란은 지난 2005년 러시아제 로켓을 이용해 이란 최초의 인공위성을 우주에 띄웠으며 앞으로 몇 년 안에 몇 개의 인고위성을 우주에 올려놓을 계획입니다.

Iranian state television says the country has launched its first rocket into space.
The network quoted the head of Iran's space research center (Mohsen Bahrami) today (Sunday) as saying the rocket launch was successful. The official said the rocket was developed by Iranian scientists.
It is not clear from the report when the launch occurred.
Iran has said in the past that it wants the capability to launch satellites into space. Tehran sent its first satellite into space in 2005 using a Russian rocket, and hopes to launch several more in the next few years.
