이란의 마흐무드 아흐마디네자드 대통령은 21일, 유엔 안전보장 이사회의 대 이란 제재도 핵 계획을 추구하는 이란 정부를 막지 못할 것이라고 말했습니다.
아흐마디네자드 대통령은 이란 국영 텔레비전 방송이 사흘 간의 이란 미사일 시험 발사가 시작된다고 보도한 가운데 그같이 말했습니다.
이란 텔레비전 방송은 혁명수비대가 테헤란 동남쪽에서 단거리 미사일들을 시험 발사할 것이라고 보도했습니다.
아흐마디네자드 이란 대통령은 의회에 예산안을 제출하면서 행한 연설에서, 지난 해 12월에 채택된 유엔 제재를 일축하면서, 안보리가 10개의 제재 결의안을 더 채택한다고 하더라도 이란의 핵 정책이나 경제에 영향을 미치지 못할 것이라고 주장했습니다.
유엔 안보리는 지난 달 핵 계획이나 미사일 계획에 이용될 수 있는 기술과 관련해, 대 이란 교역을 금지하는 제재조치를 부과했습니다.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says U.N. Security Council sanctions against his government will not deter it from pursuing its nuclear program.
Mr. Ahmadinejad made the comment today (Sunday) as state television reported the beginning of three days of Iranian missile tests.
Iranian television said the elite Revolutionary Guards would test short range (Fajr and Zelzal) missiles southeast of Tehran.
Speaking to parliament as he introduced his annual budget, the Iranian leader dismissed the U.N. sanctions adopted in December. He said 10 more resolutions would not have an impact on Iran's nuclear policies or its economy.
Last month, the Security Council imposed sanctions banning trade with Iran in technology that can be used in its nuclear and missile programs.
