콘돌리자 라이스 국무장관은 이날 부시 대통령이 잘마이 카릴자드 이라크 주재대사를 미국의 유엔 대표로 지명할 것이라고 발표했습니다.
라이스 장관은 또 카릴자드 이라크 대사 후임에는 라이언 크로커 파키스탄 대사가 임명될 것이라고 말했습니다.
앞으로 카릴자드 대사가 상원의 인준을 받게 되면 존 볼튼 대사의 뒤를 이어 유엔대사에 취임하게 됩니다.
