타이완 천수이벤 총통의 부인이 횡령 혐의로 재판을 받던 도중 졸도해 병원으로 후송된 지 16일 만에 병원에서 퇴원했습니다.
타이완 국립대학 병원 관계자들은 우슈첸 여사가 31일 타이페이 대통령 집무실 근처의 자택으로 돌아갔다고 말했습니다. 의사들은 우 여사가 저혈압 증세를 보였다고 말했습니다.
우 여사는 지난 15일 첫번째 재판에서 쓰러졌고, 그 이후 두차례 열린 공판에 출석하지 못했습니다.
우 여사와 다른 2명의 총통 보좌관들은 45만 달러의 총통 판공비를 개인적인 용도로 유용한 혐의로 지난 달에 기소됐습니다. 우 여사와 보좌관들은 그같은 혐의를 부인하고 있습니다.

The wife of Taiwan's president Chen Shui-bian has been released from the hospital, 16 days after she fainted at the start of her embezzlement trial.
Officials at National Taiwan University Hospital said Wu Shu-chen returned to her home near the Presidential Office building in Taipei today (Sunday).
Doctors say the wheelchair-bound first lady has suffered from low blood pressure.
Wu collapsed December 15th, at the first hearing of her embezzlement trial. She has failed to attend two hearings since then.
Wu and three presidential aides were indicted last month on charges of illegally claiming 450-thousand dollars in personal expenses from a presidential fund.
Wu and the aides say they are innocent.
