이라크 항소 법원은 축출된 전 이라크 지도자 사담 후세인의 지난 1982년 시아파 주민 148명 살해 사건과 관련 최근 선고된 사형 판결을 지지했다고 한 이라크 고위 관리가 말했습니다.
모와팤 루바이에 국가 안보 자문관은 바그다드에서 26일 이 같이 밝혔습니다.
이라크 법에 의하면 사형 선고는 30일내에 집행하게 됩니다.
지난달 이라크 법원은 후세인 암살 사건이후 두자이 마을 주민들을 대량학살한 혐의로 후세인에게 교수형을 선고했었습니다.

A senior Iraqi official says an appeals court has upheld the death sentence for ousted leader Saddam Hussein for the 1982 killings of 148 Shi'ite villagers.
National Security Advisor Mowaffaq Rubaie made the announcement in Baghdad today (Tuesday).
Last month, an Iraqi court sentenced Saddam to hang for the killings of the Shi'ites from the town of Dujail after an attempt there to assassinate Saddam.
It is not clear when Saddam will be executed now that the appeals court has upheld the sentence.
The ousted leader is also on trial on charges of genocide for the 1988 Anfal campaign in which prosecutors say 180-thousand Kurds were killed.
