유엔 안전보장이사회는 23일 이란 핵 계획에 관한 제재 결의안을 표결에 부칠 예정입니다.
열다섯개 유엔 안보리 이사국은 23일 프랑스, 영국, 독일이 상정한 이란에 대한 제재결의 개정안에 대한 찬반투표를 실시할 것이라고 유엔주재 외교관들이 전했습니다.
이 결의안은 이란정부에 대해 모든 우라늄 농축활동을 중단하고 핵 무기 개발이나 이전에 이를 수 있는 모든 연구활동을 중단할 것을 촉구하고 있습니다.
이 결의안은 또한 이란의 핵 계획이나 미사일 개발계획에 도움을 줄 수 있는 특정물질이나 기술을 이란에 수출하지 말 것을 모든 유엔 회원국들에게 요구하고 있습니다.
이란 의원들은 22일 유엔 안보리에서 대 이란 제재결의안이 통과된다면 이란 정부는 국제원자력기구-IAEA와의 협력을 축소할 수 있따고 경고했습니다.

The U.N. Security Council is expected to vote today (Saturday) on a resolution that would impose sanctions on Iran for its nuclear program.
U.N. diplomats say the 15-member council will vote on an amended version of a resolution drafted by Britain, France and Germany.
The resolution demands that Tehran end all uranium enrichment work and halt research and development that can make or deliver atomic weapons.
The final draft would also order all countries to ban the supply of specified materials and technology that could contribute to Iran's nuclear and missile programs. It would also impose an asset freeze on key companies and individuals in the country's nuclear and missile programs.
Iranian lawmakers warned Saturday that Tehran could reduce cooperation with the U.N.'s International Atomic Energy Agency if the Security Council passes a resolution imposing sanctions.
