러시아 하원은 6일 우라늄 광산부터 모든 핵 관련 생산을 총괄할 신규 국영 회사 설립을 승인했습니다.
이 국영 회사는 민간 핵 산업도 감독하게 됩니다. 단 군관련 핵 시설은 별도로 관리될 예정입니다. 지금까지는 민간과 군 핵 시설을 한 곳에서 관장했습니다.
세르게이 키리옌코 러시아 연방 원자력에너지부 장관은 러시아 핵 발전 산업을 활성화시키기 위해 핵 기구 재편이 필수적이라고 말했습니다.
한편 이 법안은 앞으로 상원 투표와 블라디미르 푸틴 대통령의 승인을 남겨놓고 있습니다.

Russian lawmakers have given preliminary approval to a Kremlin-backed bill restructuring the country's nuclear industry.
The lower house of parliament (the State Duma) overwhelmingly voted today (Wednesday) to create a state-owned holding company that would own all levels of production, from uranium mining on up.
The holding company will oversee the civilian nuclear industry. The military nuclear complex will be managed separately. The two sectors have previously been combined.
The head of the Federal Nuclear Agency, Sergei Kiriyenko, said restructuring is necessary to revitalize Russia's nuclear power industry.
The legislation must still pass two more readings in the Duma's lower house before going on to the upper house and ultimate approval by President Vladimir Putin.
