‘압록강호’는 이날 아프리카 남동부에 위치한 인도양의 프랑스령 마요트 섬을 출발했습니다. 이 화물선은 북한을 입출항하는 선박에 대한 검색을 촉구하는 유엔 결의에 따라 지난 열흘 동안 마요트 섬에 억류되어왔습니다.

French authorities have allowed a North Korean ship to resume its Indian Ocean journey after an extensive search found no violation of United Nations sanctions.
The vessel, the Am Nok Gang, left the small French territory of Mayotte (off the southeastern coast of Africa) today (Tuesday). It had been detained for nearly 10 days under a U.N. resolution calling for the inspection of cargo entering or leaving North Korea.
Last month, the U.N. Security Council unanimously passed a resolution to punish Pyongyang for apparently conducting a nuclear test in October.
The resolution allows all countries to inspect cargo going to or from North Korea to check for anything related to weapons of mass destruction.
The council also demanded Pyongyang abandon its nuclear weapons program.
