네팔 동부 산악지대에서 지난 23일 악천후로 실종된 24명을 태운 헬리콥터기 수색 작업이 폭우와 안개로 어려움을 겪고 있습니다.
네팔 당국자들은 24일, 최소한 한 팀의 구조대가 악천후에도 불구하고 수색 작업을 재개했다고 말했습니다.
그러나 당국자들은 시계가 좋지 못해 헬기들이 공중 수색 작업을 하지 못하고 있다고 말했습니다.
실종헬기는 세계야생 동물기금이 임대한 것으로 승객들 가운데는 네팔 산림 토양 보전 장관과 네팔 및 캐나다, 호주, 미국 태생의 세계 야생 동물 기금 고위 관계자이 포함됩니다.
이 헬기에는 또한 핀란드 외교관 한 명과 러시아 승무원 그리고 미국 국제개발처 네팔 사무 부국장등도 타고 있었습니다.

Heavy rain and fog in eastern Nepal have hampered the search for a helicopter carrying 24 people that disappeared during bad weather Saturday.
Authorities say at least one rescue team resumed its search today (Sunday) despite the weather. But they say poor visibility has prevented helicopters from doing aerial surveys.
The missing helicopter was chartered by the World Wildlife Fund. Its passengers included Nepal's minister of forests and soil conservation (Gopal Rai) and senior personnel of the World Wildlife Fund from Nepal, Canada, Australia and the United States.
The helicopter also carried a Finnish diplomat, Russian crew, and the deputy director in Nepal of the U.S. Agency for International Development.
