한편 이라크전역에서는 폭탄공격과 종파간 살해사건이 그치지 않았습니다. 바그다드에서 괴한들이 부촌인 만수르지구 경찰서를 급습해 6명의 경찰관을 살해하고 한명을 부상시켰습니다. 또한 바그다드에서는 도로변 폭탄공격으로 미군한명이 사망했다고 미군당국이 밝혔습니다.

A top U.S. commander in Iraq (Major General William Caldwell) said on Wednesday that attacks on U.S. troops in Iraq have increased in September.
