The tiny Balkan nation of Montenegro is holding its first parliamentary elections since declaring independence from Serbia in June.
Voters are casting ballots today (Sunday) to fill an 81-seat assembly.
Public opinion polls ahead of today's (Sunday's) elections indicate Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic and his ruling leftist Democratic Party of Socialists with 45 percent support from voters. Mr. Djukanovic was a leading figure in Montenegro's drive for independence.
