아프가니스탄에서 자살 폭탄범의 공격으로 팍티아 주지사와 다른 두 사람이 사망했습니다.
아프간 동부 팍티아 주 당국자들은 한 남자가 주지사 관용차 부근에서 몸에 지니고 있던 폭탄을 터뜨려 주지사와 그의 사촌, 그리고 경호실장이 목숨을 잃었다고 말했습니다.
자칭 탈레반 대변인이라고 밝힌 한 남자는 이번 공격의 배후에 탈레반이 있었다고 주장했습니다.
한편, 북대서양 조약기구 나토 당국자들은 나토와 아프간 군이 간밤에 칸다하르 주에서 탈레반과 4차례 교전을 펼쳐 모두 94명의 탈레반 반군을 사살했다고 밝혔습니다.
이와는 별도로 칸다하르와 자불 주에서 지난 밤에 2명의 연합군이 사망했습니다. 미군은 카불에서 운영되는 자살 폭탄 조직이 외국 군대를 겨냥한 공격을 자행할 기회를 모색하고 있다고 경고했습니다.

A suicide bomber has killed the governor of Afghanistan's Paktia province and two other people.
Officials in the eastern province say the governor (Abdul Hakim Taniwal), his nephew and chief bodyguard died when a man carrying a bomb detonated it near the official's car (in Gardez). At least three police officers were wounded. A purported spokesman for the Taleban said the group was behind the attack.
Also Sunday, NATO officials said NATO and Afghan troops killed 94 Taleban rebels in four encounters in Kandahar province overnight.
