이란은 이란의 핵개발 계획분쟁에 관한 회담의 전제조건으로 서방측이 제시한 우라늄 농축활동 동결요구를 일축하고 이란의 핵연료 개발활동을 계속한다고 또 다시 다짐했습니다.
이란의 자바드 바이디 국가최고안보회의 부의장은 23일, 오스트리아 수도, 빈에서 연설하는 가운데 이같이 다짐했으며 빈 주재 이란 대사관은 바이디 부의장의 연설문을 번역해서 배포했습니다. 바이디 부의장은 이란으로선 이란의 우라늄 농축활동 중단을 회담의 전제조건으로 또는 회담의 결과로든 고려하지 않는다고 덧붙였습니다.
이란 대사관은 이보다 앞서 바이디 부의장이 우라늄 농축활동 중단은 회담의 결과일 수도 있다고 말한 것으로 인용된 것은 잘못된 것이라고 지적했습니다.

Iran has again vowed to continue its nuclear fuel work and rejected freezing uranium enrichment as a precondition for talks on its nuclear program.
The deputy head of Iran's National Security Council, Javad Vaeedi, made the statement in a speech in Vienna, Austria Thursday.
Iran's embassy in Vienna released an official translation of the speech today (Friday). According to it, Vaeedi said -quote - "Iran considers suspension of uranium enrichment to be neither a precondition for talks nor a result of the talks."
The embassy said earlier reports incorrectly quoted Vaeedi as saying suspension of uranium enrichment could be the result of talks.
The United States has offered to join international talks with Iran on its nuclear program if Tehran first suspends uranium enrichment.
