이에따라 미국 대사관은 일본에 거주하거나 머물고 있는 미국인들에게 주의를 촉구하고 특히 토요일부터 월요일까지 사흘간 계속되는 미국의 현충일 연휴 기간에 수상한 행동을 목격할 경우 당국에 신고할 것을 당부했습니다.

The U.S. Embassy in Tokyo says it has received a possible threat against American facilities in Japan.
Americans in Japan are being advised to use caution and to report any suspicious activity, particularly during the Memorial Day holiday period -- beginning on Friday and extending through Monday (May 26-29).
A statement the embassy issued today (Wednesday) did not provide further details of the threat.
