그 같은 표결 결과가 나온 후, 이란 정부는 자체 핵 시설에 대한 유엔의 불시 사찰을 중단한다고 밝히면서, 우라늄 농축 계획을 계속할 것이라고 덧붙였습니다.
러시아 국방장관은 5일 이란에게, 국제적 우려를 완화시키기 위해 자체 핵 계획에 관한 모든 질문에 답변해야 한다고 촉구했습니다. 세르게이 이바노프 장관은 또한 이란 핵 분쟁이 외교를 통해 해결될 수 있을 것으로 믿고 있다고 말했습니다.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says nothing can halt Tehran's pursuit of nuclear research.
Speaking at a gathering in Tehran Sunday, Mr. Ahmadinejad said a resolution by the International Atomic Energy Agency cannot prevent Iran's progress.
The U.N. agency has voted to report the Iranian nuclear issue to the U.N. Security Council.
After the vote, the Iranian government said it was ending surprise U.N. inspections of its nuclear facilities, and was proceeding with plans to enrich uranium.
Russia's defense minister Sunday urged Iran to answer all questions about its nuclear program to allay international concerns. Sergei Ivanov also said he believes the Iranian dispute can be resolved through diplomacy.
The West accuses Tehran of seeking to build an atomic bomb. Iran denies the charge.
