국제형사경찰기구, 인터폴은 지난 3일, 예멘 형무소에서 탈출한 알 카에다 소속 테러분자 스물 세 명에 대한 체포영장을 발부했습니다.
탈출한 알 카이다 분자들 가운데는 지난 2000년 예멘의 항구에 정박중이던 미 해군 구축함 콜호에 대한 폭탄공격의 배후조종 용의자도 포함돼 있습니다.
인터폴의 로버트 노블 사무총장은 탈출한 알 카이다 분자들이 극히 위험한 자들이라고 지적하고 이들은 어떤 나라에게나 명백한 위험을 초래할 자들이기 때문에 오렌지 경계령이 발동됐다고 말했습니다.

Interpol has issued a worldwide alert after 23 accused al-Qaida members escaped from prison in Yemen. The escapees include the suspected mastermind of the 2000 bombing of a U.S. Navy destroyer, the U.S.S. Cole.
The international police agency described the escaped prisoners as extremely dangerous. Interpol's secretary-general (Robert Noble) ordered the orange alert because he says the escapees constitute a clear danger to all countries. He urged Yemen to provide information on the men so that international arrest warrants can be issued.
