압둘라 국왕의 중국 방문은 두 나라가 지난 1990년 국교를 수립한 이래 처음으로 그는 사흘 간의 방문 기간 중 후진타오 국가주석과 회담할 예정입니다. 중
국 외교부는 두 정상이 에너지 문제와 테러에의 대처 및 군사협력 등에 대해 논의할 것이라고 밝혔습니다.
사우디아라비아는 중국 원유소비량의 14%를 공급하는 최대 수출국입니다. 압둘라 국왕은 중국에 이어 인도와 말레이시아, 파키스탄을 방문합니다.

Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah arrived in Beijing today (Sunday) at the start of a four-country Asian tour, his first outside the Gulf region since he took power last year.
The three-day visit is also the first by a Saudi king to China since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1990. King Abdullah will hold talks with Chinese President Hu Jintao. China's Foreign Ministry has said the two leaders will discuss energy issues, the fight against terrorism, and military cooperation.
Saudi Arabia is the largest supplier of oil to China, providing 14 percent of its oil requirements. Beijing has been scouring the world for oil to feed its booming economy.
King Abdullah will travel to India Tuesday before stops in Malaysia and Pakistan.
