중국 동남부 지역에서 지진이 발생해 최소한 14명이 사망하고 수백여명이 부상했다고 중국 당국이 밝혔습니다.
중국 관리들은 26일 아침 장시주 루이창시에서 발생한 진도 5.7의 이번 지진으로 수천여채의 주택이 붕괴됐다고 말했습니다.
현재 당국은 피해정도를 점검하고 있는 가운데 관영 신화통신은 인구 42만의 이 도시에 구조대가 파견됐다고 말했습니다.

China says an earthquake in the southeast part of the country has killed at least 14 people and injured hundreds more.
Chinese officials say thousands of homes collapsed when the magnitude five-point-seven quake struck this morning (Saturday) in Jiangxi province's Ruichang city.
Authorities there are still assessing the damage, and China's official Xinhua news agency says relief teams are being sent to the region. Ruichang city is home to around 420-thousand people.
