중국 당국은 11일 태풍 카눈이 상륙한 저장성 동부 지역의 주민 80여만 명을 대피시켰습니다.
당국은 또한 선박과 보트 3만 5천 여 척에 대해서 항구로 돌아가 태풍이 지나갈 때 까지 기다릴 것을 지시했습니다.
중국 관리들은 태풍 카눈이 저장성내 주요 도시들을 강타해서 폭우와 강풍 피해를 초래할 것이라고 말하고 있습니다.
현지 정부는 또한 관계 부처에 홍수와 산사태 발생 가능성에 대비할 것을 지시했습니다. 카눈은 올해 들어 중국에 피해를 준 제15호 태풍으로 앞서 이 달에는 태풍 타림이 저장성에 상륙해 최소한 42명의 사망자를 냈습니다.

Chinese authorities evacuated more than 800,000 people in eastern Zhejiang province as Typhoon Khanun hit the region Sunday.
Authorities also called more than 35,000 ships and boats back to harbor to wait out the storm.
They say Typhoon Khanun will likely hit major cities in Zhejiang, battering the region with torrential rains and strong winds. The provincial government urged relelvant departments to be ready for possible flooding and mudslides.
The typhoon is the 15th to hit China this year. Earlier this month, Typhoon Talim hit Zhejiang province, killing at least 42 people.
