Grieving friends and families in Thailand are praying for loved ones who died in a fire at a Bangkok nightclub on New Year's Eve.
As mourners paid their respects to the known victims today (Friday), Thai investigators worked to identify 30 bodies that were burned beyond recognition early Thursday morning.
At least 61 people have died from burns, smoke inhalation and injuries they sustained as they tried to escape the blaze at the upscale Santika Club.
Authorities have not filed any charges related to the fire yet, but say they can charge the club owner with illegally allowing underage customers into his club.
Officials have not yet determined the cause of the blaze that gutted the building. Some witnesses say firecrackers appeared to have sparked the fire, while others blamed an electric problem.
