마스모토 교코 씨는 29살이던 지난 1977년에 일본 서부지방에서 뜨개질 교실에 간다고 집을 나간 후 실종됐습니다.
마쓰모토 하지메 씨는 북한 당국자가 전하는 동생에 관한 메시지를 최근 중국인으로부터 전달받았다면서, 동생이 살아있는 것으로 믿고 있다고 말했습니다.

The brother of a Japanese woman that Tokyo says was kidnapped by North Korean agents in 1977 says his sister may still be alive.
Hajime Matsumoto said today (Monday) that he met last month with a Chinese citizen who told him that North Korea wants to arrange a meeting with his sister.
Matsumoto's sister Kyoko, went missing in western Japan in 1977 on her way to a knitting class (at age 29). Japan says she was abducted and taken to North Korea. Pyongyang denies she ever entered the country.
Hajime Matsumoto says the Chinese citizen he met recently gave him a message about his sister from a North Korean government official. He says he believes Kyoko is alive.
