북한은 이달에 미국과 남한이 자국 상공에서 180 여 차례에 걸쳐 공중 정찰을 실시했다고 비난했습니다.
북한 관영 조선중앙통신은 31일 이같은 정찰 비행은 이른바 '북한을 무력으로 질식시키려는 공격적인 야심'을 보여주는 행동이라고 비난했습니다.
조선중앙통신은 이들 정찰기들은 지난 19일부터 여러 날동안 정찰하면서 사진들을 찍었다고 보도했습니다.
북한은 남한과 미국이 공중 정찰 행위를 단행하고 있다면서 이들 두 나라를 비난해 왔습니다. 북한은 그같은 정찰 행위는 북한 군에 의한 선제 공격을 정당화시킬 수도 있다고 경고하고 있습니다.
남한과 미국은 일반적으로 북한의 그같은 비난에 응답하지 않고 있습니다.

North Korea is accusing the United
States and South Korea of conducting about 180 spy flights over its territory
this month.
The state-run Korean Central News Agency today (Sunday) said the flights
showed, in its words, "aggressive ambition to stifle" North Korea by
force of arms.
The news agency says the planes conducted aerial observations and took
photographs over several days starting August 19th.
Pyongyang regularly accuses South Korea and the United States of conducting
aerial spy missions, and has warned that the actions could warrant a
pre-emptive attack by North Korean forces.
Seoul and Washington generally do not respond to North Korea's accusations.
North and South Korea remain technically at war because their three-year-long
armed conflict ended in 1953 with an armistice and not a peace treaty.
