러시아군이 지난 주 체결된 휴전합의에 따라 드디어 그루지야의 고리시를 떠나는 것이 목격됐습니다. 러시아의 드미트리 메드베데프 대통령은 오는 22일까지 철군을 완료하기로 약속했습니다.
고리시에서 기자들은 19일 탱크들이 철수하고 있다고 전했습니다. 러시아 당국은 탱크들이 그루지야의 자치구 남오세티아를 거쳐 국경넘어 러시아로 이동할 것이라고 밝혔습니다.
메드베데프 대통령은 니콜라 사르코지 프랑스 대통령과의 전화통화에서, 러시아 병력 중 일부는 휴전합의에 언급된 임시 보안지대로 이동하고 나머지는 귀환할 것이라고 밝혔습니다.
이런 가운데, 러시아군과 군차량은 흑해 항구도시 포티를 포함해 그루지야의 많은 지역을 계속 점거하고 있습니다.

Russian tanks have been seen leaving the Georgian city of Gori under a cease-fire agreement signed last week. Russian President Dmitri Medvedev pledged to complete the withdrawal by Friday.
Journalists in the city witnessed the pullback today (Tuesday). Russian officers said the tanks were headed toward Georgia's breakaway region of South Ossetia and would then continue across the border into Russia.
Mr. Medvedev told French President Nicolas Sarkozy by telephone that some forces will be moved to what he called a temporary security zone mentioned in the French-mediated cease-fire. He said the rest will return to Russia.
Russian forces and military vehicles continue to occupy large areas of Georgia, including the major Black Sea port of Poti.
In Washington, a Pentagon spokesman (Bryan Whitman) said today (Tuesday)the United States has yet to see any significant movement of Russian forces out of Georgia.
