후진타오 중국 국가주석이 25일 한국을 방문해 이명박 대통령과 한.중 정상회담을 갖습니다. 두 정상은 양국 관계 강화 방안과 북핵 문제의 평화적 해결 방안 등을 논의할 예정입니다.
두 정상은 또 에너지 절약 협의체 운영, 수출입수산물 검사관 상호 방문 보장 등 위생관리 약정서 등을 체결할 계획이라고 청와대측이 밝혔습니다.
두 정상은 지난 5월 말과 지난 9일 베이징에서 정상회담을 가진 바 있으며 이명박 대통령은 후 주석의 방문을 통해 양국관계가 한층 강화될 것이라고 말했습니다.

South Korean officials say Chinese President Hu Jintao will visit next
week to talk with President Lee Myung-Bak about strengthening ties and
persuading North Korea to drop its nuclear program.
The South Korean presidential office said today (Monday)that Mr. Hu
will begin his two-day visit on August 25th. The two leaders will discuss
cooperation on energy conservation, food safety and other subjects.
President Lee and his Chinese counterpart held a summit in May. They also met
on the sidelines of the Olympic Games opening ceremony in Beijing 10 days ago.
The South Korean president says Mr. Hu's visit will further strengthen
bilateral relations.
Mr. Lee has urged China to play a constructive role in international efforts to
end North Korea's nuclear program.
