한국에서 며칠째 폭우가 쏟아진 가운데 산사태와 홍수로 적어도 일곱 사람이 사망하고 다섯 사람이 실종됐습니다.
한국의 중앙재난안전대책본부는 폭우가 계속 내리는 가운데 집을 버리고 대피한 이재민이 1천2백 명에 달했었다고 밝히고 아직도 집으로 돌아지 못한 사람들이 200 여 명이라고 말했습니다.
이번 폭우는 한국 동남부 지역에서 지난 주중부터 내리기 시작했으며 강우량은 2백30밀리미터에 달한 것으로 기록됐습니다.*****
Mudslides and flash floods have killed at least seven people in South Korea.
At least five other people are missing after several days of heavy rain.
The National Emergency Management Agency says more than 12-hundred people were
forced out of their homes during the rains. More than 200 people are still
unable to return home.
More than 23 centimeters of rain have fallen on the southeastern part of the
country since the middle of the week.
