레바논의 과격 시아파 무장단체인 헤즈볼라가 이스라엘과 포로 교환에 합의했다고 헤즈볼라 지도자 하산 나스랄라가 밝혔습니다.
나스랄라는 2일 텔레비전으로 중계된 연설을 통해 헤즈볼라가 이미 사망한 것으로 알려진 이스라엘 병사 두명을 이스라엘에 수감중인 레바논 포로 5명과 교환할 것이라고 말했습니다. 그러면서 포로교환은 오는 15일 실시될 수 있다고 말했습니다.
이스라엘 정부는 지난 2006년 국경지대에서 헤즈볼라에 의해 납치된 이스라엘 병사 두명의 시신을 돌려받는 대가로 레바논 수감자들을 석방하기로 지난 29일 합의했습니다.
이스라엘의 에후드 올메르트 총리는 이스라엘 병사들이 사망한 것으로 알고 있다고 말한 바 있습니다. 그러나 나스랄라는 병사들의 생사여부를 이날 연설에서 확인하지 않았습니다.

The leader of Lebanon's Shi'ite Hezbollah opposition says his group has agreed to a prisoner exchange deal with Israel.
In a televised address today (Wednesday), Hassan Nasrallah said Hezbollah will hand over two captured Israeli soldiers who are believed to be dead, in exchange for five Lebanese prisoners in Israel. He said the swap could take place around July 15th.
Israel agreed Sunday to free Lebanese prisoners in return for the bodies of the two Israeli soldiers (Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev) captured in a 2006 cross-border raid.
Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has said he believes the soldiers are dead, but Nasrallah declined to confirm this in his remarks today.
Nasrallah said his group also will provide information on a missing Israeli airman as part of the deal. Israeli navigator Ron Arad has been missing since his aircraft was shot down over Lebanon in 1986.
