파키스탄 인민당의 아시프 알리 자르다리 대표는 이 날 정부를 해산하고 군 통수권자들을 임명할 수 있는 무샤라프 대통령의 권한을 없애는 내용의 62개 조항 헌법 수정안 초안을 공개했습니다.
자르다리 대표는 이스라마바드에서 기자들에게 수정안의 의도는 무샤라프 대통령을 탄핵하기 위한 것이 아니라 내보내기 위한 것이라고 밝혔습니다.
수정안은 무샤라프 대통령이 비상계엄령 하에 해고한 법관들의 복직도 포함하고 있습니다.

Pakistan's main ruling party has unveiled a proposed constitutional package that will limit President Pervez Musharraf's powers.
The leader of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP), Asif Ali Zardari, today (Saturday) revealed details of a 62-point proposal that would remove the president's powers to dismiss the government and appoint military chiefs.
Zardari told reporters in Islamabad the intention was to walk President Musharraf away and not to impeach him away.
The amendments would also reinstate judges fired by Mr. Musharraf during emergency rule.
Zardari says he expects the plan to come up for a vote before parliament in the near future. Constitutional amendments require the approval of two-thirds of parliament.
The PPP leads a coalition government that has vowed to restore judges. But Zardari and coalition partner, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, remain deadlocked on how to restore the judiciary.
