쿠웨이트 통치자는 이제 새 내각을 선정해야 하며 새 의회는 5월 말 이전에 소집될 것으로 보입니다.
이번 총선은 의회와 내각 사이에 확산되는 분쟁을 해결하기 위해 쿠웨이트 통치자가 지난 3월 의회를 해산한 뒤 계획된 것이었습니다.

Results from Saturday's elections show religious conservatives will hold about half of parliament's 50 seats. Some controversial members of the previous parliament were re-elected, meaning political strife among lawmakers could continue.
Kuwait's ruler (Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah) must now select a new cabinet, and the new parliament is expected to convene before the end of May.
The elections were scheduled after Kuwait's ruler dissolved the parliament in March to resolve a growing conflict between the legislative body and the Cabinet.
Many candidates had pledged to end the conflict between Kuwait's executive and legislative branches, and revive the economy to wean the country off its dependence on oil.
