반군은 터키 군이 발표한 사망자 수에 대해 즉각 반응을 보이지 않았습니다. 그러나 PKK의 한 대변인은 2일 반군은 이번 공습에서 전혀 피해를 입지 않았다고 주장했습니다.
터키 정부는 PKK가 터키 남동부를 공격하기 위해 이라크 북부를 거점으로 이용하고 있다고 주장해왔습니다.

Turkey's military says more than 150 Kurdish rebels have been killed in Turkish bombing raids carried out in northern Iraq in recent days.
Today's (Saturday's) statement was the first time the military provided casualty figures for its latest bombing campaign.
On Friday, Turkey said its warplanes had struck Kurdish rebel bases in the Qandil area as part of ongoing operations against the Kurdistan Workers' Party, or PKK.
The rebels did not immediately respond to the fatality figure provided today. But, on Friday, a PKK spokesman (Ahmed Danas) said the rebels suffered no losses in the strikes.
Ankara accuses the PKK of using northern Iraq as a base to launch deadly raids into southeastern Turkey.
Turkey has long demanded that Iraqi authorities crack down on the rebels.
