버마 군사 정부가 오는 10일로 예정된 새 헌법안의 국민투표에 민주화 운동 지도자 아웅산 수치 여사도 투표권을 행사할 수 있다고 밝혔습니다.
그러나 현재 가택연금을 당하고 있는 수치 여사가 어떤 방식으로 투표장에 갈 수 있을지는 아직 알려지지 않았습니다.
버마 정부는 수치 여사가 이끄는 야당인 민주주의 민족동맹의 틴 오 부의장에게도 이번 국민투표에서 투표권을 행사할 수 있도록 허용했습니다. 틴 오 부의장 역시 현재 가택연금 상태에 있습니다.

Burma has released a partial list of voters for the country's upcoming constitutional referendum, which includes the name of detained opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi.
Local government offices began posting voter lists today (Friday) for the controversial, nationwide May 10th referendum.
Aung San Suu Kyi's name was on a list for her home township. It was unclear how the Nobel laureate will be allowed to leave her home and cast her ballot. She has been detained for 12 of the past 18 years and is currently under house arrest.
Aung San Suu Kyi's deputy in the opposition National League for Democracy, Tin Oo, was also listed as an eligible voter. Tin Oo is also under house arrest.
Next Saturday's referendum will be the first voting in Burma since the NLD won a landslide victory in 1990.
