짐바브웨 제1 야당은 지난 달 29일 열린 대선 재검표 실시 후에도 여전히 자신들이 로버트 무가베 측 정당에 대해 승리했다고26일 밝혔습니다.
넬슨 차미사 민주변화운동 당 대변인은 재검표 결과에 따르면 민주변화운동 당이 집권당인 짐바브웨아프리카 국민연합-애국전선에 대해 승리를 거뒀다며 이같이 밝혔습니다.
짐바브웨 선거관리위원회는 지금까지 재검표한 23개 선거구 가운데 18개 선거구에서는 결과 차이가 없었다고 확인했습니다. 현재 남은 의석수는 집권당이 승리하기 위한 표를 채우기에 충분치 않습니다.
선거관리위원회 당국자는 대선 재검표는 오는 28일 마무리될 것이라고 밝혔습니다. 그러나 결과 공표 여부에 대해서는 알지 못한다고, 당국자들은 밝혔습니다.

Zimbabwe's main opposition party says its parliamentary victory over President Robert Mugabe's ruling party is intact after a recount of the March 29th vote.
A spokesman for the Movement for Democratic Change (Nelson Chamisa) says results of the recount show the MDC retained its majority over Mr. Mugabe's ZANU-PF.
Zimbabwe's electoral commission confirms that there were no changes in the 18 out of 23 constituencies recounted so far. The remaining seats are not enough for the ruling party to win a majority.
Election officials say a recount of votes in the presidential election also held March 29th should be complete by Monday. But they say they do not know when the results will be published.
The MDC says its leader, Morgan Tsvangirai, defeated Mr. Mugabe and won the presidency outright.
