대만의 중국 특사가 24일 대만 기업인들과 회동을 갖기 위해 5일 일정으로 중국을 방문했습니다.
장빈군 특사은 이 날 중국 상하이에 도착해 기업인들과 만나 마잉주 대만 총통 당선자가 집권하면 직항기 개설에 노력하겠다고 밝혔습니다.
장 특사는 대만 신임 정부는 중국 관광객들의 대만 방문을 더 허용하겠다고 밝혔습니다.
마 총통 당선자는 다음달 20일 취임식을 가집니다.
대만과 중국간 직항 노선은 보안상의 이유로 금지돼왔습니다.

Taiwan's incoming negotiator with China has traveled to the mainland for a five-day tour to meet with Taiwanese business people.
Chiang Pin-kun arrived in Shanghai today (Thursday), and told business people that once president-elect Ma Ying-jeou is sworn into office, his administration will push for the opening of direct flights.
He also said the new administration will allow more tourists from China to visit the island.
Mr. Ma will be sworn in on May 20th and has nominated Chiang to head a semi-official body in Taiwan that handles negotiations with China (Straits Exchange Foundation).
Direct flights between Taiwan and China are banned for the most part because of security concerns. The two sides split in 1949 during a civil war and China has threatened to use force against the island if it seeks formal independence.
