이라크의 수니파 아랍계 지역에서 15일 두건의 폭탄 테러가 발생해 50명 이상이 숨지고 94명이 부상했다고 현지 당국자들이 밝혔습니다.
첫번째 폭탄 테러는 바쿠바에서 점심시간에 정부 청사 인근의 한 식당 앞에서 폭발물이 장착된 차량이 폭발하면서 일어났습니다. 이로 인해 여성과 어린이를 포함해 40명이 사망하고 80명이 부상했습니다. 이라크 경찰은 사망자 수가 늘어날 전망이라고 말했습니다.
두번째 폭탄테러는 수도 바그다드의 서쪽에 위치한 라마디에서 발생해 적어도 13명이 숨지고 14명이 다쳤습니다. 경찰은 당초 주차된 차량이 폭발했다고 밝혔다 나중에 자살 폭탄 테러였던 것으로 결론지었습니다.
미국과 이라크 군 당국은 이날 공격들이 이라크내 알-카에다의 소행으로 보인다고 말했습니다.

Iraqi authorities say two separate bomb blasts killed more than 50 people and wounded 94 others today in Sunni Arab areas of Iraq.
The first attack occurred in Baquba, when an explosives-laden car exploded in front of a restaurant near government offices around lunchtime. Women and children were among the 40 victims. Eighty others were wounded.
Iraqi police say they expect the death toll to rise.
At least 13 people died in a second attack west of Baghdad, in Ramadi, and 14 people were wounded. Police initially thought a parked car had exploded, but later determined it was a suicide bomb attack.
U.S. and Iraqi military authorities say the attacks appear to be the work of Al-Qaida in Iraq.
