일본은 11일, 북한에 대한 경제제재를 6개월 더 연장했습니다.
일본 정부 대변인인 마치무라 노부다카 관방장관은 북한 핵 문제를 둘러싼 교착상태가 지속되고 일본인 납치 문제가 해결되지 않고 있어 대북한 경제제재를 연장하기로 결정했다고 밝혔습니다.
일본 정부는 지난 2006년 10월 북한의 핵실험에 대응해 북한 제품의 수입금지와 북한 선박의 일본 항구 입항 금지 등 대북한 경제제재를 취해왔습니다.

Japan has extended economic sanctions against North Korea for another six months.
Japan's chief cabinet spokesman (Nobutaka Machimura) says the continuing impasse over Pyongyang's nuclear programs and the fate of abducted Japanese citizens led to today's (Friday's) decision.
Tokyo imposed the sanctions in October 2006 after North Korea tested a nuclear weapon. The sanctions ban North Korean imports, and closes Japanese ports to North Korean ships.
Pyongyang agreed to scrap its nuclear programs last year in exchange for energy and economic aid as part of the six-nation deal. But the talks stalled after North Korea missed a December 31st deadline to produce a full list of its nuclear activities.
Japan is also demanding North Korea fully account for the Japanese nationals it kidnapped in the 1970s and 80s.
