백악관은 오늘 발표한 성명에서 체니 부통령이 3월16일 미국을 출발해 오만과, 사우디 아라비아, 이스라엘, 요르단강 서안 그리고 터키를 방문한다고 밝혔습니다.
체니 부통령의 중동 순방은 지난주 콘돌리자 라이스 국무장관의 중동 순방의 후속으로 이뤄지는 것입니다.

Vice President Dick Cheney will visit the Middle East later this month to meet with various leaders in the region.
A White House statement today (Monday) says Cheney will leave on March 16th, and make stops in Oman, Saudi Arabia, Israel, the West Bank and Turkey.
The statement says he will meet with leaders in the region to discuss issues of mutual interest.
The vice president's trip follows a visit by U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice last week to Israel and the West Bank.
