자산이580억달러로 추산되고 있는 빌 게이츠는 600억달러의 자산을 소유한 멕시코의 통신재벌 카를로스 슬림 에게도 밀려 3위에 머물습니다.
10억달러가 넘는 갑부를 국가별로 보면, 미국이 469명으로 가장 많고, 87명의 러시아가 그동안 2위 자리를 고수하던 독일을 끌어내리고 2위로 올라섰습니다.

U.S. financier Warren Buffett has overtaken his friend and partner in philanthropy, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, as the richest man in the world according to Forbes magazine's annual list of billionaires.
Forbes reports the 77-year-old chief of the Berkshire Hathaway holding company experienced a 10-billion-dollar jump in net worth last year to 62-billion dollars, enough to end Gates's 13-year streak at the top.
Gates's estimated 58-billion dollars worth led him to a third place finish, behind Mexico's telecom mogul Carlos Slim Hel?>(Hel?ealth spiked from 49-billion last year to 60-billion this year.)
The magazine released the figures Wednesday. One-thousand-125 people from around the world made the billionaires' list (up from 946 last year). Their net worth is four-point-four trillion dollars, 900-billion dollars more than last year.
Americans led the rankings with 42-percent of the overall billionaires (469), while Russia, with 87 billionaires, replaced Germany as the second place country. India took third-place with four people in the top 10.
