이라크 남부 도시 바스라에서는 경찰 고위관리가 세 명의 경호원들과 함께 저격 당해 숨졌습니다.
앞서 지난 2일 바그다드 인근 사마라 지역에서도 차량폭탄이 터져 어린이를 포함한 4명의 이라크인이 숨졌습니다.

Police say the deadliest attack occurred in central Baghdad's Bab al-Mudham neighborhood when a car bomb detonated, killing 15 people and wounding at least 43 others.
In eastern Baghdad, Iraqi security officials say a suicide car bomber rammed an Iraqi army checkpoint, killing two police officers and wounding at least six other people. Nearby homes ustained significant damage in the attack.
In other violence, police in (the southern city of) Basra say gunmen ambushed the convoy of a top Iraqi provincial police chief (Colonel Qassim Obeid) and shot him dead along with his three bodyguards.
The U.S. military in Iraq said (Monday) a car bomb exploded Sunday in Samarra, north of Baghdad, killing four Iraqis, including a child. The military says six others were wounded in the attack blamed on al-Qaida in Iraq.
