프랑스 파리 북부의 이민자 밀집지역에서 26일 저녁 청소년들이 화염병을 던지면서 경찰과 이틀째 충돌하는 사건이 발생했다고, 프랑스 당국이 밝혔습니다.
당국은 이 충돌과정에서 80여명의 경찰관이 부상했으며, 이들중 사냥총 녹탄에 맞은 일부는 중상이라고 말했습니다.
젊은이들과 경찰의 충돌은 25일 파리 북부 20킬로미터에 위치한 빌리에 르 벨에서 오토바이를 타고 질주하던 청소년 2명이 경찰의 순찰차와 충돌해 숨진 사건이 발단이 됐습니다.
약 100여명의 젊은이들이 경찰서에 몰려가 화염병과 벽돌을 던져 건물 유리창을 깼으며, 주차된 자동차와 경찰차에 불을 질렀습니다. 청소년들은 또한 상점과 주유소들을 파괴했습니다.
경찰은 최루탄과 고무탄으로 이에 응수했습니다.
경찰은 이날 빌리에 르 벨에서 벌어진 충돌이 2년 전 이 지역에서 3주 이상 계속됐던 청소년들의 폭동 때보다 더 격렬했다고 말했습니다.

French authorities say a second straight night of rioting by youths in a Paris suburb has taken a dramatic and potentially deadly turn with the use of firearms against police.
Authorities say more than 80 officers have been injured in the melee, several of them seriously, by buckshot from hunting weapons.
A police union official described the rioting in Villiers-le-Bel as more intense than the three weeks of deadly unrest in nearby suburbs two years ago.
About 100 young people attacked a local police station with firebombs and bricks early Tuesday. Rioters also burned cars and vandalized shops and gas stations. Police responded with tear gas and rubber bullets. French media reports say six people have been arrested.
The rioting began Sunday after two youths on a motorcycle died in a collision with a police car.
