한편 수단 정부는 문제가 된 수용소는 너무 위험하고 지저분해서 이주가 불가피했다고 말하고 강제로 이주시켰다는 지적을 부인했습니다.

The rights group Human Rights Watch says Sudan's government is forcibly relocating civilians in the Darfur region in violation of international law.
(In a report issued Wednesday) The New York-based group says Sudanese police and troops have forced hundreds of civilians -- mostly women and children -- to leave camps for displaced people in South Darfur during the past week.
Human Rights Watch says in one instance, U.N. and humanitarian staff were denied access to a camp (Otash) from where 400 people had been forced into trucks. The group says police were reported to be clearing shelters and possessions that the displaced people had left behind.
Sudan's government has argued camps for the displaced should be closed because they are too dangerous and too dirty, but officials deny they are forcing people to leave.
