러시아는 이란의 핵개발을 막기위한 일방적인 경제제재 조치는 문제 해결에 도움이 되지 않는다고 30일 밝혔습니다.
러시아의 세르게이 라브로프 외무장관은 이날 테헤란에서 마무드 아마디네자드 이란 대통령을 만났습니다.
러시아의 이타르-타스 통신은 라브로프 외무장관이 이란에 대한 미국의 일방적인 경제 제재는 이란 핵 문제를 푸는 데 도움이 되지 않는다는 뜻을 밝혔다고 전했습니다.
또 중국 외교부도 이날 이란에 대한 경제제재는 사태를 복잡하게 만들 소지가 있다며, 국제사회는 대화를 통해 문제를 해결하기 위해 노력하고 있다고 말했습니다.
한편 미국을 비롯한 서방국가들은 이번주 런던에 모여 이란의 핵개발을 막기위해 경제제재 방안을 논의할 예정입니다.
러시아는 중국과 함께 미국이 주도하는 이란에 대한 경제제재에 미온적인 태도를 유지하고 있으며 이란의 첫 원자력 발전소인 부셰르 원전을 건설중입니다.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov says unilateral sanctions against Iran are "not helpful" in efforts to resolve the dispute over Iran's nuclear program.
Lavrov, who met with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Tehran Tuesday, was referring to recently announced U.S. measures to pressure Iran to abandon its sensitive nuclear activities.
Russian news agencies (Itar-Tass and Interfax) quoted Lavrov as saying unilateral economic sanctions will not help "the continued collective effort" to solve the problem.
Also on Tuesday, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman (Liu Jianchao) said countries are seeking dialogue with Tehran to resolve the issue and sanctions should be avoided to prevent further complications.
World powers plan to meet in London this week to discuss a possible third set of U.N. sanctions against Iran for defying repeated U.N. demands to stop enriching uranium -- a process which can be used to make nuclear bombs.
