이라크의 수도 바그다드에서 오늘 3개의 폭탄이 폭발해 9명이 사망했다고 이라크 관리가 밝혔습니다.
첫 폭발은 미군 순찰차량이 바그다드 남부 보라 지역을 통과한 직후 발생했으며 행인 3명이 사망했습니다.
또 다른 길거리 폭탄은 바그다드 동부 발라디야트의 이라크 경찰서 근처에서 폭발해 역시 3명이 사망했습니다.
역시 3명의 목숨을 앗아간 차량 폭발은 시내 중심가에 있는 지방의회 건물 밖에서 발생했습니다.
한편 미군은 오늘 연합군이 이라크 남부 도시 모술에서 테러 용의자 한 명을 사살했다고 발표했습니다.
또 이라크의 누리 알 말리키 총리는 더 이상의 폭력사태를 막고 협력을 강화하겠다는 양대 시아파 세력 지도자간의 합의를 환영한다고 밝혔습니다.
급진 시아파 성직자인 무크타다 알 사드르와 최대 시아파 정치 단체인 최고 이슬람 평의회 지도자인 압둘 아지즈 알하킴은 어제 양측간 유혈 충돌을 중단한다는데 서명했습니다.

Iraqi officials say three bombs have exploded in Baghdad, killing nine people and wounding several others.
In one attack today (Sunday) in the capital, a roadside bomb killed three bystanders as a U.S. military patrol drove through southern Baghdad's Dora district. Another roadside bomb exploded near an Iraqi police patrol in eastern Baghdad, killing three people.
A car bomb also killed three people outside a provincial council building in the city center.
Meanwhile, the U.S. military says coalition forces killed a suspected terrorist today (Sunday) in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.
In another development, Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has welcomed an agreement by two Iraqi Shi'ite leaders to end months of fighting between their supporters. Mr. Maliki, also a Shi'ite, says the deal gives him "great comfort."
The agreement was signed Saturday by radical Shi'ite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr and Abdul Haziz al-Hakim - the head of Iraq's largest Shi'ite political party (the Supreme Islamic Iraqi Council).
