이들은 성명서 초안에서 세계무역기구, WTO 도하 라운드의 진전은 더이상 미룰 수 없다며 이같이 밝혔습니다.
WTO 협상은 151개국 회원국 간 견해 차를 좁히기 위한 새로운 의제 아래 3일 시작됩니다.
한편, 조지 부시 미국 대통령 등이 참석하는 정상회담은 오는 8일부터 이틀간 열릴 예정입니다.

Leaders of APEC's 21 economies suggest in the statement there has never been a more urgent need to make progress in the Doha round of the World Trade Organization talks.
WTO negotiations begin today (Monday) on new proposals to bridge the differences among the organization's 151 members.
The talks, which began in 2001, stalled last year because of ideological differences between rich and poor countries on how best to reduce trade barriers to farm products, manufacturing and services.
APEC's 21 economies, including the United States and China, account for almost half of world trade.
President Bush will be among the leaders at the summit in Australia.
