이라크의 누리 알-말리키 총리는 수니파 아랍계 장관 6명의 사임의사를 받아 들이기를 거부했습니다.
말리키 총리는 5일, 자랄 탈라바니 대통령과 시아파 부통령인 아딜 압둘-마흐디 부통령을 만나고 난 후 그같은 결정을 발표했습니다.
이들 지도자들은 국회 내 수니파 아랍계 최대 정파인 '합의 전선' 소속인 살람 알-조바이에 부총리와 다른 다섯 명의 장관들이 마음을 바꿔 정부로 복귀하기를 기대한다고 말했습니다.
합의 전선의 대변인은 시아파 주도 정부가 시아파 민병대에 대처하고 수색작전과 체포작전 수행 방식의 개혁하라는 자신들의 요구를 충족시키지 못했다고 말했습니다.

Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has refused to accept the resignations of six Sunni Arab cabinet ministers who quit last week.
Mr. Maliki announced the decision after he met today (Sunday) with Iraqi President Jalal Talabani and Shi'ite Vice President Adil Abdul-Mahdi. Iraq's Sunni vice president did not take part.
The leaders said they hope the six ministers from the largest Sunni Arab bloc in parliament, the Accordance Front, change their mind and return to the government.
A spokesman for the Accordance Front (Rafaa al-Issawi) said the Shi'ite-led government failed to meet the bloc's demands to deal with Shi'ite militias and reform how raids and arrests are conducted.
Mr. Talabani says he will meet next week with Mr. Maliki, the Shi'ite and Sunni vice presidents and Kurdish leader Massoud Barzani for talks on resolving the political crisis.
