리아 노보스티 통신은 25일 이란은 연내 발전소 가동을 요청하고 있지만 부쉐르 발전소의 건설이 예정보다 최소한 1년 정도 늦춰졌다고 보도했습니다.
러시아는 지난 2월 이란이 제 때 공사 수주금을 내지 않았으며, 이에 따라 원전 건설을 위한 부품 수입이 늦춰질 것이라고 밝힌 바 있습니다.
한편, 국제원자력기구IAEA는 24일 이란의 아라크시에 건설 중인 중수로를 다음주 초 사찰할 것이라고 밝혔습니다.
A Russian government news agency says a nuclear plant being built for Iran will not
become operational before September 2008 at the earliest.
The RIA-Novosti report (today / Wednesday) says the Bushehr power plant is at least
one year behind its original schedule, dismissing Iranian claims that the plant could be
operational yet this year.
Earlier this year (February), Russia complained that Iran had not met its payment
schedule and said there were delays in shipping parts for the plant from other countries.
Bushehr is Iran's first nuclear power plant.
Separately, the United Nations' nuclear agency said Tuesday it will inspect Iran's
heavy-water nuclear reactor under construction in Arak early next week.
