트리니다드 당국은 뉴욕시 존 F.케네디 국제공항 폭파음모 혐의로 수배된 제 4의 용의자가 자수했다고 밝혔습니다.
트리니다드 경찰은 5일, 가이아나의 압델 누르 씨가 트리니다드의 포트 오브 스페인에서 당국에 자수했다고 발표했습니다.
누르 씨는 지난 주 밝혀진 폭파음모사건에서 아직 체포되지 않은 유일한 인물이었습니다.
존 F. 케네디공항의 전 직원 등 4명의 용의자들은 공항의 정유탱크 시설을 공격함으로써 공항을 폭파시키려는 음모를 꾸민 혐의를 받고 있습니다.
나머지 3명의 용의자들은 지난 1일과 2일 뉴욕 시와 트리니다드 토바고에서 각각 체포됐습니다. 용의자 중3명은 가이아나 출신이며, 한 명은 트리니다드 출신입니다.

Authorities in Trinidad say a fourth suspect has surrendered in a terror plot to blow up New York City's John F. Kennedy Airport.
Police say Abdel Nur of Guyana surrendered today (Tuesday) in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. He was the only suspect still at large after the plot was uncovered last week. Four men, including a former airport employee, had planned to blow up the airport by targeting the facility's enormous fuel tanks.
The other three suspects were arrested Friday and Saturday in New York and in the Caribbean island nation of Trinidad and Tobago. Three of the suspects are from Guyana, and the other is from Trinidad.
Engineers say if the plot had been carried out, it would likely have destroyed the entire airport. But authorities say the plot never went beyond the early planning stage, and the public was never in imminent danger.
