한편 이라크 주둔 미군 대변인은 비디오에서 실종된 미군 2명의 상태를 알려줄 수 있는 결정적 증거는 없었다고 말했습니다. 미군 대변인은 이어 실종군인에 대한 수색 작업을 계속할 것이라고 말했습니다.

An al-Qaida-linked group in Iraq says it killed three U.S. soldiers who disappeared after an attack south of Baghdad last month.
The group, the "Islamic State of Iraq," said in a video posted on the Internet that it killed the three soldiers after capturing them.
The body of one of the American soldiers was found in a canal two weeks ago. The video message says the other two soldiers were killed and buried, but it did not offer proof. The video also showed the military identity cards of the two soldiers.
A U.S. military spokesman (Brigadier General Kevin Bergner) said the video does not contain any definitive evidence about the status of the two missing soldiers. He said U.S. and Iraqi forces are continuing the search for them.
